Adding books

Tap the Add Books button:

A menu pops up

Select to scan a barcode.

Point the camera scanner at an ISBN barcode. It is located at the back cover of a book.

If a barcode is missing, most books will have a printed ISBN on the first page. Use Scan a book page for an ISBN text or type the ISBN manually.

Working with book data

Tap a book in the list or select Add Manually from

Enter or change information about the book.

Here you can change the photo and also use the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to read the book title and author.
There are also options for searching eBay and Amazon for the book using the book's ISBN.

Bookcases

A book can belong in up to 3 different bookcases.
Before adding books, select the bookcase you want to use, or use the default option, All books.

In

select settings and Bookcase naming. Here it is possible to change the names for existing bookcases. Notice Bookcase #9 - 12 are added to make it possible to have personal bookcases, such as Bookcase 1. floor.

Export/Import all books

It is possible to move all books between devices using export/import. If the phone is not getting backups very often, the export option can be used to copy the books to a macOS computer. The data is stored in a standard zip file.
